She was born June 30, 1932 to Clyde and Lena May Carpenter in Butler, Missouri. She had 3 sisters, Virginia , Ruby and Della Rose whom have all passed before her. At 18, she met and married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Stark. Together, they explored the world with the highest integrity two human beings could possibly have. Jaunita enjoyed the outdoors tremendously. She loved to waterski, camp, fish, hike and even hunted with Bob every year. In later years, Jaunita and Bob developed a love for golf and became snowbirds, traveling south every year playing golf along the way. Jaunita had a crazy love for books; reading over 100 books a year. She also adored any type of game although Pinochle was her favorite. Jaunita was a master homemaker. Every year she canned fruits and vegetables, kept an immaculate home and made a mean loganberry pie. Jaunita was a loving mom to Mike and Lisa Stark, grandmother to Jordan Epps, Taylor Scott, Lonnie and Miles Bates, great grandmother to Ciera Epps and a friend to many. Jaunita is now with her beloved husband as well as her dear friends and family that have gone before her.
She will be greatly missed.
