Jeff passed away at his home in Salem on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the age of 60.
He was born on Tillamook, Oregon on December 23, 1959 to Gilbert and Paula Wilson. Jeff is survived by the love of his life, Laurie Sarsfield (her children, Ashlan and Tanner), his parents, Gilbert and Paula Wilson, his brother, Timothy Wilson (Peggy), his sister, Julie Evans (Todd), nieces and nephews; Landon, Carissa, Brittney, Jordan, Kelsie, step and foster children and grandchildren who affectionately called him "Papa." Jeff was preceded in death by his sister Tacy Wilson and his brother Greg Wilson.
Jeff graduated from McNary High School in Keizer and studied at Boise State University. Jeff was a friend to all he met and had many friends and family that loved him.
One of Jeff's greatest passions was restoring custom cars, and many considered him an expert and often sought his advice. Jeff was a detailed craftsman in many areas and enjoyed home projects such as landscaping, gardening, and working on cars in his shop.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th from 5-7pm and on Saturday, February 29th from 9-11 am at Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors, 1350 Commercial St SE, Salem, OR 97302.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 29th at 1:00 pm at Terrace Lake Park Club, 2120 Robins Lane SE, Salem, OR 97306. Dress code is T-shirts and Jeans, as Jeff would prefer.
