Shortly after Graduating Salem high school in 1970 she went to work for the Norpack Brooks plant as a sanitation supervisor for 34 years. Joanne enjoyed Camping, the Oregon coast, and Crater Lake. She also loved movies and taking her nieces and nephews with her on her adventures.
Joanne is preceded in death by her father Paul Bennett.
She is survived by her mother Muriel, sister’s Janeen (Mike) Rush, Jan (Kent) Cannon, Nephews Keith Jones, Justin and David Rush, Bennett Cannon, Niece Kelley Wiener.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 5, 2014 at 3pm at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom directors.
