Joyce was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on July 19, 1931. She left us on July 14, 2020 in her home in Dallas, Oregon. She married Donald Herbert Powers in 1950. They were blessed with 5 sons and 4 daughters. She was preceded in death by her youngest son in 2001 and her husband in 2007. She has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
