And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
SALEM ~ Judith passed peacefully March 23rd in the presence of her loved ones and the angels. Judith was born in Kansas City, Mo. She was an only child of her parents Cecil and Alice Boyd. Judith was raised in Monterey Park Ca. and after graduating from High School she was married and gave birth to a daughter Lisa. The family later moved to Oregon, and Judith began her career as a Paralegal and worked for several Law firms in Salem. Judith was a devout Christian, and the most important things in her life were the Lord Jesus, her Family, and Quilting. She was a member of Salem Evangelical Church and was very much loved there. She loved the church, the Staff, and the people there. She was a prayer warrior and instilled in her Family the importance of prayer, and a life that honored God. Her passion for Quilting was well known in the community. She was the owner of the Cotton Patch Quilt Store in Keizer for several years before selling the business and looking forward to retirement with her husband and family.
Judith was preceded in death by her Parents, and her Husband, Tim. She is survived by her Daughter Lisa Miller (Jimmy), Granddaughter Kristin Belen (Mark), and her great-grandkids, Alyssa, Camron, and Casy. The family is at peace because we know that our Redeemer lives and Judith is in His arms, safe, secure, and satisfied.
Donations can be made to “Salem Evangelical Church Kitchen Fund”. An open viewing will be held Sunday, March 28th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Home.
