Kenneth Wayne Broadwell

Kenneth Wayne Broadwell (1938-2024) was born to Arlington E. and Ida Ruth Broadwell on 6/19/1938 in Ballston Oregon. Wayne was a loving and devoted husband and father to four daughters. Wayne was a man of great wit and humor. Wayne loved making people laugh and loved laughing at himself with his crazy jokes and antics. He was never at a loss for words and was a stranger to no one. Wayne was a family man and loved playing games of all kinds. He loved wood working in his shop making all kinds of holiday decorations etc. Wayne worked 35 plus years for the Oregon Highway Department on the stripping crew and sometime on the carpenter crew. Wayne was a huge sports fan of New York Yankees baseball and Dallas Cowboy football team. One of Wayne’s favorite activities was his monthly visit to the casino. He loved playing black jack and socializing with all the dealers and others at the table.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Rosella Broadwell, two brothers and four sisters. Wayne is survived by his daughters Teena Bement of Stayton, Toni Cook of Salem, Traci Marsh (Terry) of Salem and Tyla Broadwell of Salem, 3 grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
