Michael Alvin Jenkins was born 20 June, 1947, to Claud and Hazel (Willson) Jenkins in McMinnville, OR, and passed away 15 April, 2020, in Salem, OR. He attended school in McMinnville and Coos Bay, OR, and moved to Oakridge, OR, for junior and senior high. After high school, he attended Oregon State University and joined the Air Force. After serving in the Air Force, he became an accomplished electrician as a general supervisor and inspector for the state of Oregon. His career allowed him many travel opportunities to Greenland, Alaska, Oregon and Washington.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Jenkins) McBride, and three grandchildren: Hayden Trull, Conor Trull and Olivia Trull.
A graveside service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, 30 July, 2021, at 10:30 am. A reception will follow in Wilsonville, OR.
