A wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, artist, actor, gardener and Air Force Medic will be so very missed. Born in Albany, New York, he enlisted in the Air Force and became a medic, which brought him around the world, including Thailand during the Vietnam conflict. Drawing and painting all his life, he sold his paintings on the beach in Santa Barbara, CA and Maui, HI. He acted in the movie Nixon, with Sir Anthony Hopkins and in Steal Big, Steal Little, with Andy Garcia. He also performed in many plays and designed sets/programs.
He is survived by his beloved wife Carmelina, his daughters Tina (Paul) and Jennifer (Steve), his son Theo (Cindy & Cindy’s son Dylan & his wife), grandchildren Chanel (Greenz), Nicole (Sam), Austin, Asia (Gabriel) and her mother Cheryl, several nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
Greeted in Heaven by his father Edward, mother Alma, sisters Lois (Les) and Eunice (Larry), brothers Eddie and Donny and nephew Donny Jr., along with many, many loved friends.
A special thank you to my ODOT family, who supported me so generously, making it possible for me to care for him myself, which meant everything to both of us.
In lieu of flowers please buy a piece of art from a starving artist and think of him when you enjoy it.
