Richard was the youngest of three boys. Born in David City, Nebraska to Bernice and Donald Pieters. Richard also went by Dick which most knew him by. Richard is survived by his son Michael Pieters, daughter Kellie Pieters, son-in-law Kris Coats, grandson Graesun Pieters, grandson Jaxsun Pieters, grandson Rylan Coats, granddaughter Ryanna Coats, and grandson Hunter Pieters.
In addition to family and being a single parent of two children. Richard loved to hunt duck & geese, deer, and fish. Richard would always help anyone he could. He was a loving soul with a heart of gold!
