Robert (Bob) Moorman passed away peacefully June 21, 2023 with his wife holding his hand and other family members by his side. He was born in Salem Oregon to Joseph and Anna (Weinacht) Moorman. Bob lived his entire life in Salem Oregon, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. He married Joan Lillquist on July 26, 1958. He worked at Portland Road Lumber Yard, Diamond International, and Judson Plumbing. Bob served in the Oregon National Guard from 1953-1962.
Bob is survived by his wife Joan; children Jackie (Ande), Mark (Chris), and Terrie (Roy); four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother Jerry; and four nephews and one niece. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 4:00 -6:30 pm at Virgil T. Golden funeral home. Rosary and funeral mass will be Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Keizer Oregon. Graveside blessing (immediate and extended family only) will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
