We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear Russ, a.k.a. Rusty. He was a true gentleman; kind, generous and a loyal friend who was always quick to help someone in need. He was a wonderful grandfather and an amazing stepfather. Russ was the most dedicated, loving husband and partner in life. He was always quick with a smile and a joke. Life with him was full of laughter and love, creating only good memories that we will cherish always.
Russ loved woodworking, playing pool; and cooking and traveling with his wife, Kim. He was handy around the house and was always working on a project. He enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and his loyal dog, Daisy.
Russ worked for Kaiser Permanente’s Information Technology Department for 33 years proving himself a dedicated and proficient employee. He retired in 2007.
Russ is survived by his wife, Kim and stepchild, Atom from Salem, Oregon; his grandson, Tyler from Burbank, California; his brother, Robert from Waterford, California; and a beloved extended family. We are all grateful to have had him in our lives and will miss him deeply.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Willamette Vital Health Hospice: https://www.wvh.org/donate We will forever be grateful for their compassion and care.
A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s home.
