Tracie Lee Brasuell-Gonzalez passed away peacefully on Monday evening, November 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 29, 1980, in Salem, Oregon, to Tracy and Kevin Brasuell. Tracie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, aunt, and daughter.
Tracie lived in Salem with her husband and daughter. She had a generously big heart and an unforgettable presence. Her kindness, humor, and ability to brighten any room made her beloved by friends, family, and the many people she encountered throughout her years as a waitress. Despite her health challenges, she approached every day with strength, stubbornness, and a will that inspired those around her.
Beyond her relationships and her strength, Tracie was an adventurous soul with a deep connection to nature. She loved exploring new places and talking about everywhere she had been—or hoped to go. She inherited from her late grandmother June a deep devotion to the holidays, always bringing them to life with her creativity, excitement, and attention to every little detail. She was incredibly smart, always curious, and excited to learn new things. Her mind was open, her spirit was rare, and her presence unforgettable.
Tracie was one of the fiercest, most unique people we have ever had the honor of knowing and loving. We will miss her forever.
