Vivian was born to Louis and Lilly Graddy on August 4, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri where she attended school thru the 8th grade. After completing school Vivian met the love of her life Calvin and they wed in 1948. It wasn’t long into their marriage when they had their first born Lester enter their lives in 1949. Lester was followed by nine more brothers and sisters, Lloyd, David, Keith, Calvin, Paula, Vivian, Virginia, Edward, and Sandra. Vivian went on to follow many of her hopes and dreams living in Missouri, Idaho, and finally settling down in Oregon in 1963. In her later years she grew to love playing Triple Lucky Sevens Slots down at the casino. Vivian will be dearly missed by everyone who loved her.
Vivian was preceded in death by her Husband Calvin, Her Sons Keith, Calvin, Lester, and her Grandson Justin.
There will be a Viewing Thursday, October 31, 2013 and Friday, November 1, 2013 from 9-5pm. Followed by a service on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the South Salem Church of The Nazarene starting at 11am. There will also be a Committal service starting at 2pm at City View Cemetery in Salem, Oregon.
