Yolanda was born March 25,1926 into an immigrant Italian family to Alessandro Savaglio from Cosenza, Italy and Rae Conforti of Chicago, Illinois. She married her College TA, Arnold John Hennig in Madison, WI, on June 16, 1949 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI. Yolanda graduated a “Badger” from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Pharmacy degree and worked many years at Gene Lang’s Pharmacy in Boulder, CO where her family grew up. She was a devoted spouse, mother of 4, grandmother and great grandmother. Yolanda was a staunch traditional Catholic with exceptional pro-life, conservative values, never afraid to announce her beliefs as evidenced by her middle name Annunziata. She was very tender & loving, giving to all she met especially the little children whom she played with tirelessly. She made sure everyone was always comfortable and well fed at her house. Her love was expressed in many ways, she liked to entertain and attend parties with friends and family. She was unwavering in her commitment to her faith and family, and will be greatly missed. Her message to all was one of faith and love.
