

Bernadette Weakley Marshall passed away in the care of her family on December 16, 2012 at the age of 67 in Layton, Utah.Bernadette was born January 29, 1945 in Ogden, Utah. She spent much of her youth in Ogden were her experience was rich and colorful. Throughout her life Bernadette shared her love with three husbands. In her first marriage to Johnny Wall she was blessed with her eldest son Johnny Marshall. She ventured to Salt Lake City, and married her second husband, Alexander Marshall Sr. 1974. Through this union, Bernadette mothered two more sons, Alexander and Bernell Marshall. Alexander Sr. preceded her in death in 1994. Bernadette graduated from Weber County Adult High School in 1965 and achieved certifications and accreditations as a social worker in the industry of public health. She retired from service as a driver’s education instructor of the Clearfield Job Corps facility where she found fulfillment serving our youth. She was an altruistic person and shared her experience, knowledge, beauty, faith, sophistication, love and heart with many friends, family members and associates over the years. Bernadette was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and cultivated her families’ spirituality at Guadalupe and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Churches in SLC.Bernadette is survived by her three sons, six grandchildren, one nephew, a foster brother, a step brother and two daughter-in-laws.Funeral services directed by Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 E 100 S on Friday, December 21, 2012. Viewing at 11 am and services at 12 pm. Burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1 pm, 1342 E. 500 S.
