Betty M Randall

1934-2012

Betty McCaa Randall 77, died peacefully on Jan. 29 due to complications from Pneumonia. Betty was born on April 22, 1934 in Shreveport, La. to William Moore McCaa and Helen Gill McCaa. She graduated from SMU in Dallas, Tx. Betty married Francis Stokes Randall in 1959 and later divorced but remained very good friends. They raised 2 children, Anne Randall Southwick of Tooele, UT. and Stephen McCaa Randall of Denver, CO. She worked as a Secretary for Wheeles Drilling Company in Shreveport for 22 years.

Betty moved to Salt Lake City in 1978 to join her parents and Brother Bill McCaa and his family. Betty worked for Northwest Pipeline and made so many friends over the course of her 18 years there.

After retiring Betty was able to travel to different parts of the world. She stayed busy doing volunteer work and working part time at Chico’s.. She was a wonderful cook and loved nothing better than to entertain family and friends. She had the most incredible zest for life and was loved by everyone that came in contact with her. Later in life Betty spent time crocheting and working on her “Whimsey’s” much to our delight

Betty is survived by her daughter Anne Southwick (Bob), and their son Michael Southwick, son Stephen Randall (Heather) and their children Mattie Randall and Charlie Randall. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Lou McCaa of Memphis TN. and her niece Katherine Baldwin (Robert) and their children also from Memphis, and nephew William McCaa of San Francisco, CA. Betty is also survived by her special love, Roger Naus of Shreveport LA. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Billie and Helen McCaa, and brother Dr, Bill McCaa.

Services will be held Friday, February 3rd at 1:00 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1710 South Foothill Dr. Internment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South
