Dan grew up in Murray City and lettered in football at Murray High School. He worked in construction and as a window glazer.
He is survived by his son, Skye, who is his little, look a like, loving pal, his legacy and proudest accomplishment.
He is also survived by his caring and supportive mother, Judy Heath Davis. Two sisters, Amie (Jerry) Kinder, and Ashlie (Kevin) McCracken, grandmother, Shirley Heath.
During times of tenderness or tension, he was grateful for Shannon Fernandez, who gave him his only child.
He admired and respected his father Ronald G. Davis and his grandfather, O. Lamont Heath, both preceded him in death. As well as, his grandparents, Ralph Leroy and Bernice Davis.
Dan never missed an opportunity to say, “I love you”. Our lives were enriched by loving him in return.
His creed was, “No surrender, no retreat.” Which he owned valiantly until his last breath. An unfinished life cut savagely and tragically short, while in custody at the Salt Lake County Jail.
