Keith Elliott Rauzon

A gentleman who proudly pronounced his faith in Jesus Christ his Lord & Savior as a Christian. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah he worked hard for his family as a steamfitter welder for Local 57. He moved to Long Island, New York in 1988 where he settled and proudly worked for many power houses that kept New York City and New Jersey running. Keith retired as a member of Local 638 after 41 years. Most recently moving from New Windsor, New York with his wife of 16 years Janice Rauzon to Calabash, North Carolina in October of 2016. He never called his job work because he loved what he did every minute of his day. He was an avid golfer, Jet and Yankee fan. He also loved classic rock, country music, watching movies and live theater and concerts. He held a stature of a proud American who loved his country and the people in it. It was the easy going “Razz “that people took a quick liking to. He embraced his blended family with love and enormous pride and was not afraid to tell his children and grandchildren how much he loved them. Razz/Dad would call Utah every week to his daughter’s Brooke and Ashley and four grandchildren. He visited as often as he could and kept in touch with his siblings and his dad Emmett. Keith “Razz” has touched many lives. He rests with his son Tyler, stepson Jared, and his mom Margaret and many others. He will be truly missed!!! Until we meet again.

He is survived by his father, Emmett; siblings, Larry (Lisa), Terrie (Kathy), Doug (Susan), and Ron (Lisa); children, Brooke, Ashlee (Ryan), Carrie (Mark), and Christen; grandchildren, Tyler, Myles, Addison, Kate, Kacie Lynn, Matthew, Bryan, Kenny, and Avery; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held an hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive. In lieu of flowers please donate to one of Razz’s favorite charities, St. Jude.
