

Roy H. Siebert, 72, beloved husband of Helen Brown Siebert, passed away at home in South Jordan, Utah, on March 17, 2016, due to Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA). Roy was born April 9, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Heinz H.G. Siebert and Margaret K. Neumann. He married Helen Brown in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 6, 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Margaret Siebert; and brother Ronald L. Siebert. He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Janel (Brad), Chris (Amanda), Tricia (Dean), Mark (Tobi); 15 grandchildren; and brother Ralph, (Eileen). He served as a missionary in Sydney, Australia, served in the Army Reserve for six years; worked for IBM and owned his own office equipment sales and service business. Roy loved to ballroom dance, boat, scuba dive, and travel. He enjoyed playing Santa during the Christmas Season. Roy was an active member of the LDS Church and held many callings, including missionary service in Ward, Stake and Inner City Missions. He also served in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. He especially loved working in the scouting program. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.), South Jordan. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, SLC. A special thank you to our Angels from Inspiration Hospice for their loving care.
