William Bain

William R. Bain, age 74, passed away October 10, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born July 24, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard Condie Bain and Leah Brower Bain. He graduated from Bryant Jr. High, East High and the University of Utah with a B.S. in History. Bill was a very dependable worker, and volunteered to help friends, family and the needy. He retired after 30 years as a U.S. Postal employee. Bill was very athletic and active throughout his life in the L.D.S. Church. He was in charge of cleaning his Ward on Saturday mornings with a volunteer group. He worked many years as a Records Clerk for the 27th L.D.S. Ward. Bill was a kind and friendly gentleman and always treated others with great support.

Bill is survived by his sister, Sandra B. Willardsen, and brother-in-law, Monte Willardsen; and brother, Richard C. Bain. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Bill will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a visitation one half hour prior to the service.
