

Antonia spent her early years in Sonora, Texas, and later lived in California before getting married. Her career was distinguished by her work at Ethicon, from which she retired after a dedicated tenure. Her adventurous spirit took her to Puerto Rico and Germany, where she trained others in her field of expertise.
Antonia was a devoted mother to her three children: Mary Ann Bastien, married to Jerry Bastien; Brenda Villarreal; and Tobias Tarin, married to Monica Tarin. She was predeceased by her sisters, Julia Cardona and Maria Mancias, and is survived by her brother, Vicente Garza, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Joseph Tarin, Steven Villarreal, DeAnna Napoles, Elisha Villarreal, Ricky Aguirre, Danielle Glick, and Brittany Schmidt, and her great-grandchildren, Ramon Villarreal III, Eva Villarreal, Landree Napoles, Brodee Napoles, Trentyn Acevedo, Tristyn Acevedo, Adalyn Acevedo, Alex Bowman, Hayden James Glick, Bryden Daniel Glick, Kierran James Schmidt, Chase Daniel Schmidt, and Rosalie Ann Elizabeth Schmidt. Her family fondly remembers the joyful gatherings during holidays.
Antonia's personal interests included being a talented artist and painter, possessing a beautiful singing voice, and gardening, particularly tending to her roses. She was an excellent cook and had a love for travel. Her community involvement included participation in the Altar Linen Society.
Her personal qualities of determination and unflinching strength in the face of conflict were admired by many. She was a meticulous cleaner and always strived to be fair and honest in every matter.
Expressions of gratitude are extended to Concho Hearts Hospice; Deanna Villarreal and the staff at Angel's Care Home Health; her son-in-law Raymond Villarreal for his daily support; The Champion Family and The Tarin Family for their unwavering support and love; The Bara Family; granddaughter DeAnna Napoles for her role as a medical advocate and resource; and granddaughter Elisha Villarreal for her constant love and celebration of her Grandma Bubba.

Antonia Garza's life was a testament to her hard-working, honest, and humorous nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her in San Angelo, Texas, and beyond.
The rosary will be held at Johnson's Funeral Home, located at 435 West Beauregard, San Angelo, TX 76903, on December 21, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 301 W 17th St, San Angelo, TX 76903, on December 22, 2025, from 10:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905, on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 am.
Pallbearers will include Steven Villarreal, Hector Acevedo, Ramon "Pookie" Villarreal, Trentyn Acevedo, Tristyn Acevedo, Landree Napoles, and Raul Napoles. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Michael Tarin and Brodee Napoles.
