Betty Joyce Bradshaw, 89 years, took wings to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Betty was born on July 9, 1934 with mental retardation special needs and lived at home until the passing of her parents. In 2007 Betty joined the family of the Reagan County Care Center and remained there until her passing.
Betty is survived by her sister, Gloria Baggett; nephew Mark Matschek and wife, Lisa; and their children Macahl Matschek and Lauryn Kingma & husband, Josh and daughter, Lainey. A host of Baggett family who accepted and loved Betty as well.
Betty will be remembered for her smiles and compliments to anyone who came to the Care Center for a visit. She loved being active and helping anywhere she could. Betty loved music, especially gospel, bingo and her special friend Mary, RCCC Activity Director. She loved all her nurses and aides and giving them a hard time.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances Gann; sister Pat Clevenger & husband, Larry; nieces Julie and Lisa Mills and brother-in-law Ronnie Baggett.
Heaven has another angel and we look forward to seeing her one day.
A celebration of life for Betty will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Reagan County Care Center, 1300 N. Main Avenue, Big Lake, Texas 76932.
