Billie J. Gregg

Billie J. (Bill) Gregg passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at his home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. The graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Gregg Hagelstein officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home. Bill was born September 5, 1931. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. He married Janie York on February 16, 1951. He was a lifelong mechanic and retired from the United States Post Office. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert N. and Dorothy Gregg. He is survived by his wife Janie and two daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Chuck Kirking and Sally and Ralph Kellermeier. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Natalee and James Peterson, B.J. and Lindsay Kirking, John and Jill Kellermeier and Mark and Ashley Kellermeier; 6 great grandchildren, Abi, Aaron, Beth, Sydney, Jenna and Avery; His Mother-in-law, Barbara A. York; brother, Bob Gregg and many cousins. The family request donations be made to Hospice of San Angelo or The Permanent Endowment Fund at Sierra Vista United Methodist church or a charity of your choice.
