Billy Ray Young, 68, of San Angelo, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in San Angelo suddenly. He was born to Austin and Mildred Harris Young on May 1, 1949 in San Angelo. Billy worked over 20 years each as a mechanic and security guard. His work ethic was inspiring to those around him. He was a methodical man who believed everything had its place, and was especially so about his keys and remote. Billy Ray was a devoted husband and family man. Billy Ray’s kind heart, strong will and independent streak will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Christine Dale McAllister Young; children, Misty Corning, Christy Corning, Britney Corning, Troy McAllister, Tammera McAllister, Betty Clark, Molly Young, and Laura Young; several grandchildren; sister, Nita Young; brother, Walter Young; and a host of other relatives and friends.
