Charlene J. Daugherty

Mrs. Charlene "Granni Boi" Daugherty, age 90, of Big Lake, Texas passed away September 28, 2018 surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tay and Charlie Jones; husband, Joe M. Daugherty, and grandson, Charlie Smyers. She is survived by her children, Wade Daugherty of Big Lake, Texas, and Candy Smyers and husband Mike of Denver City, Texas; grandchildren, Kyle Daugherty of San Angelo, Brittni Hill and husband Thomas of Abilene, Texas, Edward Smyers and Brian Hunter of Montgomery, Texas; great-grandchildren, Michael Hill of Abilene, Texas, and Callee and Madison Hunter of Montgomery, Texas. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM, Sunday, September 30, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Big Lake. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 1st, 2018 at 2 PM in Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake, Texas officiated by Pastor Larry Young. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home.
