
Christine Baker, 77, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 3, 2010 in San Angelo. The Funeral Service will be 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Baden officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Christine was born July 25, 1933 in San Angelo, Texas to Edgar and Louise Crenwelge. She grew up in San Angelo and attended San Angelo High School. Christine married the love of her life, Bobby Ray Baker on August 30, 1950 in Aztec, New Mexico and they shared 60 beautiful years of marriage together. Although Christine worked in the banking industry most of her life, she was the greatest mother and homemaker first. Christine devoted her life to her family and above all things she loved cooking for her family and spending time with her family and friends, especially her mother. She and her husband Bobby also enjoyed several years of RV traveling and motor cycle touring together. Christine was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Crenwelge. She is survived by her loving family, Husband, Bobby Baker, of San Angelo; her Daughter, Kathleen Baker, of San Angelo; her Son, Carlton Baker and his wife, Lisa, of Bedford, TX; her Mother, Louise Crenwelge, of San Angelo; her Grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth and Chandler Allison Baker, both of Bedford, TX; her Brothers, Eugene Crenwelge and his wife, Donna, of Ruidoso, NM, and Chester Crenwelge and his wife, Mary Alice, of Irvine, CA; her Sister, Ernestine Wilson and her husband Dennis, of Mertzon, TX; two Nephews, Robert Wilson, of Alvin, TX., and Shan Crenwelge, of Lakewood, CA; Numerous other nieces and one great Niece, Misty Pippin, of San Angelo; and many other family members and close friends . Pallbearers for the service will be Greg Holt, Ron Anderson, Richard Walden, Raymond Anderson, Ricky Childress, and Steve Hohmann. Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be Kenneth Eggemeyer and Bob Stout. The family requests that memorials may be made to the West Texas Boys Ranch or to a charity of your choice.
