Clara-kate Lydia Jackson

Callen Lynn and Clara-Kate Lydia Jackson were born the morning of July 14, 2021 at St. David’s medical center in Austin, Tx. Callen was born at 8:34 A.M. and passed away in the arms of his earthly father into the arms of his Heavenly Father a few short minutes later. Clara-Kate was born at 9:27 A.M. and fought with all her tiny might until July 15th at 10:20 A.M. when she passed peacefully to meet her brother, Callen.

In the short time that we had our sweet twins, we learned so much from them. We learned to be thankful for every second of life, every heartbeat, and every movement. They taught us to focus on what is truly important: faith, family, and friends. They helped us to see the beauty and goodness in the world - even in times of conflict. Most of all, they reminded us to have hope, to love without ceasing, and to put our faith daily into Jesus.

Though we will miss and love them every single day, with every ounce of our being, we know, without a shadow of a doubt, that we will see them again someday. Until then, Callen and Clara-Kate are being loved and held by family and friends who have passed before them.

Callen and Clara-Kate are survived by their parents, Kaleb and Alana Jackson; big brother, Clark Jackson; paternal grandparents, Darryl and Sherry Jackson; maternal grandparents, John and Teresa Culbertson; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents, and friends.

We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Jenny Wiggins-Smith and her nursing staff at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Tx. Also, the STARFlight crew, Dr. Donna Villacis and her labor and delivery staff, Dr. Peter Untalan, Dr. Frank Cho and the NICU staff - all of St. David’s medical center in Austin, Tx. We were shown the love of Christ by each person who served us on this difficult journey and we are so thankful.

A graveside service for Callen and Clara-Kate will be held on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Culbertson family cemetery with Reverend Donald Ward officiating - 8195 Grape Creek Road, San Angelo, Tx 76901.
