

David L. Hill, 46, left this world on Monday, July 24, 2023, to go on more adventures and more trips. He was born in San Angelo, Texas, on June 13, 1977, to David Franklin Hill, Jr. and Carol E. Wallace Hill. He is survived by Andrew L Hill, his son, Autumn D. Mercer, his daughter, Brock L. Williams, his greatly beloved grandson, his father and stepmother, David F. Hill and Dee Hill, his mother, Carol E Hill, his brother J. Alan Hill, his sister, Angela Cross, and his special companion and friend Megan Nichols, his long time four legged companion , Bodie, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. He graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas, in May 1995. He joined the Navy for a short time. He became a machinist and worked in Odessa and New Braunfels, Geronimo. His latest passion was engraving guns and became quite good. He married Heather Bonner on June 18, 1999. They had one child together, Andrew Louis Hill, before they parted ways. He married Amber O'Brian on May 13, 2013. They had many adventures before they parted ways.
He will be dearly remembered for, not only his love of life and good times with family and friends, but also his love of hunting, fishing, the outdoors, all things Star Wars.
The family will be having an informal celebration of life in San Angelo on August 13th and one in New Braunfels on August 6th.
