Donna Rae White Sasseen

Donna Rae White Sasseen, age 60 of San Angelo, Texas joined her heavenly father on October 1, 2012. She was born on August 14, 1952 to Thomas E. and Sally M. White, in Haskell, Texas. She was married to George T. Sasseen, III on November 16, 1973.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband and son Joseph, and three sisters Phyllis White, Ann Barler, and Ruth Salazar.

Donna is survived by three daughters and sons-in-love: Terri and David Matiella, Rachel Sasseen and Robert Durand, and Sarah and Eric Graham; sisters Sue McGee and Linda Honer; and brothers Truman White and John White. She was "Grammy D" to Kori Graham, Christian Winstead, Grace Matiella, Gus Matiella, and Lily Graham. In addition, she was loved by many friends and family.

Donna was a retired medical technologist at Baptist Memorial Hospital, San Angelo, Texas.

She had a zest for life, loved unconditionally, and had an impact on people near and far. She was a person so many of us wish we can be. One of her special hobbies was scrapbooking, and she produced amazing and fun things for family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
