He was a long haul truck driver for many years, owned a BBQ stand in Lamesa, Texas, worked recreation in California, spent years at the Tom Green County Water Dept. and Concho Pecan Company.
He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years Willie Pearl Harris-Wesson and her children Quintin Harris, Phoebe Evans and husband Richard, Yuel Harris, Sheila Henry, Yolanda McDowell, Orlando Harris, Dwight Harris and wife Janice; his children from a previous union include David Eugene Davis, Ernest Wesson, Jr., Darnell Wesson, Linda Kay, Donald Ray, Michael, Carl, Richard and Frank Wesson and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
