He was born on October 3, 1939 in Guayama, Puerto Rico to William and Braulia Campos. Later in life, Frank married Elizabeth on April 17, 1961 and the couple had 3 children together.
Frank worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor for College Hills West Apartments. He was also a proud member of Centro Cristiano Emanuel where he was always seen with his maraca in hand. Frank was a deeply caring person who always helped others, including being a devoted prayer warrior for countless people. His unwavering faith in and unconditional love for God will always be remembered.
Frank will also be remembered for the incredible light display that decorated their home on S Hill Street with every Christmas. His hospitality and love of people knew no bounds. He would often open their home for the public to join his family in celebrating the Christmas season while sipping hot chocolate and sharing laughs and stories. Frank will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Campos; twin daughters, Alva Lewton and husband Terry, and Elva Rubio and husband Robert, and son, Frank Campos, Jr. and wife Becky; grandchildren, Rey Rubio, Mario Garcia, Rene Rubio, Ricky Garcia, Randy Rubio, Christian Rubio, KC Campos, Justin Rubio, and Robert Allen Rubio; great-grandchildren, Madison Rubio, Noah Rubio, Abby Garcia, Katie Garcia, Miley Garcia, Jade Rubio, Ava Rubio, Guy Rubio, Elijah Garcia, Emma Garcia, and Jocelyn Rubio. He is also survived by siblings, Felicita Diaz and Jesus Campos; niece Miriam Diaz, and numerous other nieces and nephews all of Puerto Rico.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Centro Cristiano Emanuel, 2100 S Hill St, San Angelo, Texas 76903. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11 AM at Centro Cristiano Emanuel with Pastor Noel Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers are Rey Rubio, Jr., Randy Rubio, Rene Rubio, Mario Garcia, Jr., Ricky Garcia, Christian Rubio, Justin Rubio, and Stone Fernandez.
The Campos family would like to thank Dr. Chang and the 4th, 5th, and 6th floor staff at Shannon Medical Center, Kindred Home Health for the care they gave Frank. The family would also like to thank all of the friends, family, prayer warriors, Pastor Noel Hernandez and his wife, and Centro Cristiano Emanuel for their outpouring of love and support.
