Visitation will be held Friday, July 15th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 16th at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Sweet officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.

Helen was born March 31, 1921 in Duluth, Minn. She proudly served in the US Navy during World War II, where she met her husband Warren A. Specht, whom she married on February 19, 1946 in Wood River, Ill... She was a mother and a homemaker who enjoyed painting and traveling with her dear friend, Josephine Wolslager.

Survivors include son Robert A. Specht and wife Cheryl G. of San Angelo, son John W. Specht and wife Rita L. of Pinehurst, Texas, and daughter Mary-Inez Specht of San Angelo. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Heather Dawn Richardson, Bridgett Kay Specht, James Robert Specht and Katheryn Lee Loftis, and six great grandchildren Danny and Mason Loftis, Robert Leo and Hannah Rebecca Richardson, and Joseph Allan and Haelee Lynn Specht.
