On June 24, 1945, she married the love of her life, Jack Perkins. They shared 44 beautiful years together until his passing in 1989. June was a beloved homemaker who took care of her family. June spent a lot of time in prayer. She made sure her family always knew they were in her prayers; she even had notebooks full of names that she prayed for specifically. She also enjoyed walking in the mall, and of course stopping at Dillard’s to check out the clearance rack. June was a proud member of Angelo Bible Church and also volunteered with hospice. She was a woman with a precious soul who will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
June is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Perkins; her son, Jack William Perkins Jr., and her grandson, Ariel Rees.
