Luis “Pocho” Hernandez Serrano of San Angelo, Texas, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on March 18, 2022. He was born on May 28 1995 in San Angelo, Texas to Vanessa Hernandez and Luis Serrano Jr.. Luis attended San Angelo Central High School and graduated in the class of 2013. Luis had a career in the wind turbine industry for years working for RWE Renewables as a Wind Technician.
He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by so many especially his pride and joy, his son Landon Serrano. The bond they shared is unbreakable. Destiney and Luis have been a great team while raising Landon, and we will continue that love and support. Luis will be greatly missed by his mother, Vanessa Rodriquez and stepfather Joe Rodriquez; his loving sister Brittany Hernandez, brother Brett Rodriquez and fiance Brandi, the best uncle ever and their rock, Robert Torres and wife Leanna, Tias Sandra Torres, Sylvia & Willie Gray, Patricia Price ,Yolanda Lozano and husband Joe. Luis was so grateful for the Dominguez family and the love and support they showed him, Vanessa, and Brittany over the years and still continue to show. He loved his family and shared a close bond with his cousins. Luis had a treasured bond with his Uncle Bobby, he was his biggest supporter and was like a father to Luis and his sister growing up. Over the years, Luis became one of Joshua and Gaby Torres’ biggest supporters. He loved all of his cousins very much. Luis enjoyed hiking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with Landon. He was a really hard worker and had just celebrated a year of the home he bought for him and his son. He definitely loved his Mom and took care of her. He had a close bond with his friends and nobody was ever a stranger. He created many memories with group of friends whom called themselves the ‘Coonboiz’. He loved to make others laugh, watch football games at his house , BBQ, going to the park, hiking, spending quality time with his son, and loved when the 49ers beat the Cowboys. He will also be remembered as always dancing and lighting up a room. He was loved by so many and will greatly be missed.
To my son, I’m not sure how I will live life without you. I promise to keep your memory alive with Landon and to continue to love him. I’m not sure how I’m going to do life without you, but God will get us through this. God needed you more, and I know you have a lot of people in Heaven who welcomed you. Thank you for all that you did for us and always loving me. You are my pride and joy. Love, Mom
