I have known Mark since we were kids in both school and church. Mark was always a good friend and we had many good times together growing up. We lost touch when Mark left Grand Prairie years ago but reconnected on Facebook and then in person at our 40th reunion.  Mark was the same Mark I had known most of my life. Some people are just like that, and he will be greatly missed by many including me.

I , like other classmates, just heard about Mr Jordans passing and am so saddened to hear of it. He was a great example in school where I met him. I wasn’t more than a fellow classmate but I did have him as a classmate in many classes. He was a fine man then as throughout his life and he definitely left behind a fine legacy. I pray for the family and pray that he rests in peace.

Even though it has been over two years since Mark's passing, I just heard about it today. He was a very nice guy with a kind heart and a true gentleman. We first met in 1969 which was our 9th grade year at Adams Junior High. We became closer friends on the track team that spring. We both ran the 440 and most of the time Mark crossed the finish line before I did. I have memories of us bent over, panting heavily with our hands on our knees, trying to keep from throwing up! We both laughed about it at a class reunion a few years ago. It was so good seeing him here that night and catching up. He was very happy especially talking about his family. One thing I will always remember about Mark was that he was always smiling. That says a lot about a person. He will be missed by many.  RIP 

I am so sorry to learn of this two years later.  The summer of 1967 Mark and I were bus boys and dish washers at The Globe Restaurant in Grand Prairie.  We were making $1.00 an hour and we felt rich.  It was also that summer Mark taught me how to play golf, which has been a life long curse.  We rode 10 speeds together, were on the high school golf team, played in band and had many classes together in school. When we were kids and had big rainstorms, Mark, Chris and I used to take their home made boat down to the creek and find golf balls among the cottonmouth snakes in the water.   He was one of my closest friends back then.  Best wishes for his family.

I am saddened to hear about Mark. We were classmates at Houston Elementary through high school. We were also friends at church. He was always so sweet and kind to everyone and will be remembered fondly and missed by many.

I am just today learning of the loss of Mark.    I am truly saddened by the news of his passing. Mark and I were in band together at Adams Jr. High in Grand Prairie.  We were close friends.  Everytime there was a band party, my parents would tell me what a fine young man he was.  I know he is greatly missed by his family.  Four children, and 12 grandchildren...what a fine legacy he left behind.  I know that his family has the assurance of seeing him again someday.

Shocked to hear the news ! Prayers for all the family ! Our families go way back ! He will truely be missed, a good friend may you rest in peace!! 

We are so sorry for your loss. Just recently meet Mark when he started attending First Presbyterian church. Enjoyed him in Sunday School and loved the Ruffini replica he did of the church. Very talented and sweet man. Glad we meet even if only for a short time. He will be missed. God bless each of you.

My deepest condolences to the Jordan family.As one of our regular and well- known customers at McCoy’s,Mark was always very nice and patient even when having a rough day.He always greeted everyone and he would take time to visit even though I knew he was very busy.Mark,may GOD bring your family peace,strength and serenity in this difficult time.We will miss you,sir.

Mark, my heart is broken here on earth but I know God has gained one of the best in heaven. I really enjoyed all our talks at McCoys... you will be greatly missed.
