Martin Anthony Lauer

Martin Anthony Lauer passed away on August 24, 2021 at Park Plaza Nursing Home in San Angelo, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Ann; sons Martin, Terry, Greg, Jim, Dave, Dennis and Marty; twenty-two grandchildren, Stephanie, Amanda, Kristin, Caroline, Terry, Andrea, Martin, Bill, Casey, Dayna, Daniel, Laurie, CJ, JC, Erik, Jacob, Killian, Tristan, Althea, Noah, Leonard Josh and Maggie; sister-in-law Jean, and several nieces and nephews.

Martin was born on September 8, 1931 at home in Fryburg, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Ambrose and Lucy Lauer. He had four older sisters; Gen, Edna, Annarose and Eileen, and two older brothers, Denny and Jim.

On March 17, 1977 Martin married Ann Elizabeth Young at Rev. Stuarts Home in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was employed for 44 years by Hammermill and International Papers.

Martin was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral and St. George Catholic Church and also attended Holy Angels Catholic Church.

A family and friends gathering for Martin will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, Texas 76903.
