Nayo E. Nunez

He was born on July 23, 1938 in San Antonio, TX. He later moved to West Texas where he met the love of his life Margarita Chappa. They married on October 24, 1964 and were very blessed to have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, a son and 2 granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife Margarita Nunez, three daughters Enedina Stewart and husband James, Elisa Martinez and husband Arthur and Catherine Dickison and husband Christopher, one son Adam Nunez and wife Lisa, two sisters Josie Hernandez and Antonia Reyes, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

A Rosary will be held at 7:00p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Holy Family Mission in Mereta, Texas with burial to follow in Mereta-Eola Cemetery.
