Oletha Fay Hooper

Fay grew up on a farm with three sisters and four brothers. On August 24, 1946, she married the love of her life, Forrest Mike Hooper. Together they raised two children, Linda Ruth Archer and Robert Bruce Hooper.

Fay was a strong woman of faith, kindness, and compassion. She was very much an animal lover, especially all the rescued animals that were lucky enough to be adopted and spoiled by her. She was a fabulous cook who always set a beautiful table where everyone was welcome. She will be missed by all who knew her, but especially by her two dogs, Skipper and Mackie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, and Mike, her beloved husband of 68 years. She is survived by her children; daughter, Linda Hooper Archer and husband Lance and son, Robert Hooper and wife Marlene. She is also survived by a grandson, Dr. Kelly Koenig and wife Stephanie and two great grandchildren, Mikayla and Jakob Koenig.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anderton for the many years of care and compassion he gave to Fay and Mike, Hospice of San Angelo, and to her caregivers, Lori and Jade for the joy they brought her these past few months.
