Peggy Joy Lambert

Peggy Stafford Lambert was taken by the angels to reside with her Lord in heaven on June 11, 2016. Peggy was born Peggy Joy Stafford April 24, 1941, to Willie and Lauretta Stafford. She graduated from Lakeview High School and married Ron Lambert on May 29, 1959. Peggy was a wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed very much. Peggy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ron; her children, Dan Lambert, Chris Lambert, Donna Corker of St. Louis, Missouri, and Judy (Mo) Jamison; her sister, Diana Wood; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was a military wife who had lived and traveled across several countries. Peggy was a beautiful lady who loved to bring laughter in any situation. She had a gift of bringing joy to everyone around her.Family visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Johnson's Funeral Home. The funeral service for Peggy will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, in the funeral home chapel. Burial service will immediately follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
