Pinkney Robert “Bob” Black was born October 3, 1931 in Nogales, Arizona to Ida Minnie and Hal Black. He passed from this earth on Saturday, January 21st at 8 P.M. in a Lubbock Hospital. Bob worked for West Texas Utilities for 42 years. He had 5 siblings, Jimmy Black (deceased), Betty Jo Crystal, Paten Jones Black, Georgia Black Jameson, and Johnny Black (deceased). Bob and his wife Betty of 64 ½ years have 3 sons together, Pinkney Robert Black, Jr., Jack Wayne Black, and Roger Dale Black. He has 5 beloved grandchildren, Nicole Black LeGault of Germantown, TN, Rebecca Black of Bartlert, TN, Derek Wayne Black, Audra Black and Ileah Brown of San Angelo. He has 5 great-grandchildren, Hope and Ella LeGault of Germantown,TN, Taelyn Black, Addison Black and Conor Brown, all of San Angelo. Family Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home. Services will follow on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Johnson's Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Fairmount Cemetery.
