

Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Biedermann, 78, of San Angelo, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 19, 2015 in the St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Rowena. Pallbearers are Joseph Biedermann, Peyton Brown, Will Brown, Cade Vinson, Hoby Biedermann and Craig Biedermann. Honorary Pallbearers are Benjamin Perez, the Mereta Co-Op Gin and UAP Coffee Club. A rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the church on Wednesday.
Mr. Biedermann passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 in San Angelo. He was born to Herbert Arthur and Olivia Feist Biedermann on July 4, 1936 in Rowena. Robert graduated from Central High School in 1954. Then he went on to Sul Ross College and played baseball where they went on to win the national championship. He went on to have a short career with the Milwaukee Braves before being drafted into the United States Army Reserves. Robert was a cotton farmer and member of St. Ambrose Holy Family. He married Randy Hurst in San Angelo on October 5, 1961. He served on the board for the following organizations; St. Margaret Parish Council, Veribest Water Board, Mereta Co-Op Gin, and the Federal Land Bank. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Biedermann and brother, Dennis Biedermann.
Survivors include his wife, Randy Hurst Biedermann; son, Monte Biedermann and wife, Angela; daughters, Terri Vinson and husband, David, and Marla Brown and husband, Rowdy; grandchildren, Joseph Biedermann, Elizabeth Biedermann, and Abby Halfmann and husband, Bryan, Cade Vinson, Cash Vinson, Jessica Brown, Peyton Brown, and Will Brown; great grandchild, Bowen Halfmann; siblings, Herbert Biedermann, Jr., Marie and George Martin, Diana and Jim Guszak, Maurine and Jack Shewmake, and Marilyn and Carey Page; brother in law, Danny Hurst; sister in law, Marcia Hurst; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Barnett and Dr. Cummings as well as the entire Oncology Department of Shannon and Dr. Hagemeister and the staff of M.D. Anderson as well as all of Hospice of San Angelo for the loving care provided to Mr. Biedermann and family.
