Robert Ivan Couture

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday January 18, 2013 at Johnson's Funeral Home.A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday January 19, 2013 at Knickerbocker Community Cemetery.

Robert was born August 26, 1936 to Albert and Leona Couture in Glen Falls, New York. The family moved to Portsmouth, Virginia when Robert was seven. After high school Robert joined the Army where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. While in the Army Robert met the love of his life Marian Couture and they got married on December 1, 1973. The Army put Robert through ASU to get an accounting degree. Bob graduated with his Accounting Degree in 1982. Robert retired with a medical discharge from the Army after eighteen and half years of service.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents Albert Ivan Couture and Leona Garrow Couture and brother Paul Couture.

Robert is survived by his wife Marian J. Couture; four daughters Debra J. Canova and husband Jim, Laura G Tyers-Gottstein and husband Joe, Robin E. Bledsoe and husband Kenneth, Nancy J. Woolland and husband Robert; Seven Grandchildren Wes Kayne Tyers, Lauren Canova, Steven James Canova, Ryan A. Bledsoe, Joshua R. Bledsoe, Cheyanne R. Woollard, Samantha L. Woollard; One Great Grandson Logan D. Bledsoe; eight brothers Albert A. Couture and wife Bobbie, Bill Couture, Dan Couture and wife Karen, David Couture, Joseph Couture, Michael Couture, Tommy Couture; two sisters Gladys Krzysiak, Ester Sudds.
