Ruby Elizabeth West Morris, 96, passed away at a Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, TX on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. She was born May 16, 1914 in Lampasas County to James and Sallie Leeland Straley West. She married James Franklin Morris on March 11, 1934.
Ruby is preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors included numerous nieces and nephews and her special nephew, John Temple Hoover, who was her companion and caregiver.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 3, 2010 at Straley Cemetery in Adamsville, TX. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home. Family and Friends may sign an online register at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com.
