I met Scott working at Frontier Communications, he will be missed dearly.  Scott would make me laugh and smile on a bad day.  He was very sarcastic and always had a good comeback to anything that was being said.  He never listened to advise (ha ha) and was never at his desk.  I will miss seeing Scott walking around with his head phones blasting to heavy metal, and will definitely miss showing up to work to find a plate of bbq, or something tasty he whipped up wanting to share.  I miss my friend, miss him very much. Rest In Peace Scott, until we meet again. My condolences for the family, I am so sorry for your loss . Scott was very much loved and will be missed dearly.

I remember...Scott was a passionate man...loved his son and daughter...loved to bbq...loved his car(s)...loved wrestling...loved heavy metal (and mosh?pits)...loved Stephen King novels...loved football...beer...he loved love.  At one time, Scott was my cubie mate and I felt Very lucky!  He was SO smart!  Of course, he was rarely at his desk!  He was Always away helping someone!  He was my neighbor at one time (upstairs apt).

I was so saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I worked with him at Verizon. He was a kind, super smart, incredibly stubborn (especially if he was right) young man. He would crack me up sometimes and I know I exasperated him...a few times on purpose because it was funny to me to see him roll his eyes and stalk off in frustration. My thoughts and prayers are with him, and his family. Eternal rest grant unto him and let perpetual light shine on him. 

Scott “Ace” Crabtree
I first met Ace in April 1998, as we both sat waiting to begin orientation as new employees with GTE.  There was this young man, barely out of his teens, and I, a near 20-year Army veteran.  For reasons I’d only later come to realize, Scott and I hit it off immediately and were nearly inseparable for two years during our smoke breaks and occasional Pay-Per-View WWE Wrestling night.  As a mountain is to a hill, so was Scott’s love for the WWE compared to mine. He would hoop and fight his way through each round, ignoring his spills of beer in the process.
During those first two years, we two would take turns speaking our heart during our smoke breaks together, more and more until he felt more like my son than a fellow employee.  In many ways, I believe Scott imprinted on my heart, and perhaps I did on his; I will never know.  For my ambitions took me in another direction and his to his own, as was expected of a lone wolf type, such as he was.
That was 22 years ago.  And two days ago, another friend from that same era, broke the horrible news of Scott’s untimely passing.
For a season, there will be very little joy for me, no full moons and no brightness.  I miss Scott’s sharp wolfen eyes, his biting wit and his lone wolf ways, which will no longer make their marks across our paths.
As for his survivors, his mother, siblings, partners and children, I offer my deepest and sincerest condolences.  For I know that Scott was born with a flickering light, only kept full and bright by his sheer will power.  Yet the light he shared and transferred to you shall never die, if you and yours keep moving onwards and upwards.  Nothing makes the pain of loss less, however the waves of pain do subside with time, and eventually turn into ripples of sadness.  Let your grief flow and follow its path to the other side: love of life!
And if by chance, Scott’s soul can roam for a few days to say his goodbyes, may you live elsewhere in PE-ACE.

I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of Scott. I am sending prayers for the family and hoping that memories of wonderful times with Scott will sustain you in this difficult time and forever.

I met Scott 21 yrs ago and admired the fact that he was an avid reader. A few years later we worked in the same group and I had the opportunity to witness the absolute pride and pure joy he had when his babies were born. He just beamed with pride and was absolutely in Love with his kids. He really was a tender hearted man. Always there to lend a hand when needed. You will be missed Scott. I'm praying for the entire family,  for peace and strength 

I will always remember how much you loved your family. From your grandma to your grandson and everyone in between.  
How happy you were talking about your kids. 
How much you enjoyed holidays with your entire family. 
I will remember fondly that you were one of a kind. 

Scott and I only knew each other for a year but he turned out to be a wonderful friend to me not just coworkers at WB.  I will always hold a special place for the last Star wars movie we went to see and will be eternally jealous of his DVD collection! My dear friend Scott.  I can't believe you are gone.  I will miss your snarkiness and  your weird sense of humor and especially your honesty.  You let very few people in to your circle and I was privileged to be one of those few.   You were a fierce protector of those you cared about, especially your family!  I am sad your grandson will not have the opportunity to get to know you personally but I know your family will make sure he will know who you really were.  Till we meet again my friend.

Scott and I ( Mike Sanders) we were together and played together at WB Liquors. Scott has a wild sense of humor , that only he could pull off to make it funny .  We shared lots of personal talks and thoughts about each other. We laughed a lot and cried to . Scott was my co-worker and real friend . We always were truthful with one another . I respected his thoughts and opinions.  I will miss my friend and partner . I’ll never forget you  ever , you will be in my heart , thought , and prayers . I love you as a brother . Your family is me new family . 

Scott and I shared a desk at work 22 years ago. I was on day shift and he was on night shift. We shared a mutual love of music and bumped into each other at concerts. I always had a respect for his depth. What's behind the eyes is sometimes hard to see. I saw him for who he was not the Scott he wanted everyone to see or the Scott he portrayed. He was kind and respectful and he was searching for what we all search for. He was a hard worker and was relied on HEAVILY  by not only his Teammates but especially so by Management.  I will miss him dearly. May God Forever Rest Your Soul my sweet Scott.
