

He was born in San Angelo on October 26, 1990. Taylor graduated from Central High School. He worked in the restaurant industry as a cook at Zero One Alehouse, Mathis Field Café, and the Catfish Corner. Taylor had a passion for music, playing basketball, the L.A. Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys, as well as developing and perfecting his own unique and personal style.
He will be remembered for his big heart, beautiful smile, gorgeous blue eyes, and always seeing the best in everyone.Taylor was the most kind and sweetest person. He always had the right words to say to comfort others when they were having a bad day. His absence leaves a big hole in our aching hearts.
Taylor is survived by his mother Katina Emert and her fiancé Sammy Prieto; sister Madison Jolliff and his brother-in-law Adam; grandparents Nell and Dwain Welch and Jane and Edward Davis; uncle Leslie Welch and aunt Debbie Gambino; numerous cousins; the Family’s life-long friend, Moses Peña; sister Alex Davis; and father Mike Davis and wife Cindy.
Family visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17th. A celebration of Taylor’s life is at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson Street Church of Christ on Friday, March 18th with Tommy King officiating. Taylor will be laid to rest in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
