He is preceded in death by his parents, Moses Valdez and Antonia Garza Valdez; son, David Valdez; siblings, Jesse Valdez, Maria Martinez, Beatrice Cardenas and Joe Valdez.

Mr. Valdez is survived by his wife, Margaret Valdez; daughters, Lisa Valdez, Susan V. Hernandez and husband, Conrado Hernandez; grandchildren, Shelly Reyes, Sabrina Gomez (John Gomez), Conrado Adam Hernandez, Eric Valdez, Abraham Valdez and Ryanne Valdez; great grandchildren, Chastity Macias, Matthew Macias, Johnny Macias, Jasmin Alexa Gomez, John Anthony Gomez, Jaden Gomez, Great-Great Grandchildren, Jonas Whiteside, Erin Morin, Maze Morin, Selena Maldonado and Juliet Macias.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm. to 10:00 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Funeraria Del ANgel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 8:15 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 4603 St. John's Way, San Antonio,TX 78212. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery & Mausoleum II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237.
