Pinkie was born in San Antonio on March 15, 1928, to Ferdinand Renken and Martha Fillinger. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in 1946. On May 31, 1947, she married Gilbert R. Gibby Bailey, Jr., of San Antonio, and together raised five children.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Dianne Patrick of Houston; sons, Gil Bailey, III, and Steve Bailey, of Leander, Mike Bailey and Mark Bailey, of Houston; three daughters-in-law; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister.
