

Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley Owen Phinney and Oleta Bernice Bible, his children, Alan Phinney Jr. and Gabriela Layne.
Alan is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Phinney; children, Craig Dwayne Phinney and spouse Denise, Heather Raenell Phinney and spouse Christina, Amy Marie Ramirez and spouse Monte; grandchildren, Raiden Ramirez and Rhiannon Ramirez; Brother -in-law-Rodney Rouse and wife Donna; nieces, Chris Bristow and Franki Jecker and nephew, Mikel Roberts; niece Candace Garcia and nephew Brynten Rouse; also, many loving friends and extended family.
Alan loved nothing better than being with family and friends. His 2 grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Alan had a big heart, and he will be dearly missed. We love you infinity and beyond.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Marine military honors.
