Alan worked for Quest Diagnostics for 40 years. He was an animal lover; he shared the love with eight basset hounds and a beautiful Macaw. Alan also enjoyed being outdoors and loved to travel with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Alan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Anne Stanley; brother, Tibby E. Stanley and wife Judy; niece, Dawn Stevens and husband Toby; nephew, Matt Stanley and wife Landra; 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. He is also survived by his beloved Bassett Hound, Oreo and lifelong friends, Homer and John.
