I send my deepest condolences on behalf of my mother and father. Uncle Albert is the essential gentle giant. Simply, a legend in and of his time. A very gentle, loving touch and look made you know what to do in his presence. If my mother could be Adell again, I know she would be there with you all. I will always remember his smile and the peaceful guidance within his eyes. His love will enfold you all forever. I will always hold him in high esteem and marvel at his great ability to do it all. Know that he is at peace and is so grateful to be with his Eva. The Holy Spirit has raised him up on eagle's wings. Love and prayers to each and everyone of you.

I will always remember Albert Andry as a man who lived his life with quiet dignity. Somewhat of a mystery to me as he didn't usually have a lot to say. But it is easy to see the kind of person he was by the legacy he left behind. Kind, successful, loving children, grandchildren. My deepest sympathy to you all in your loss. May you find comfort in knowing he is at peace and back with his love, Eva, and their precious Nehman. God bless you.

For my cousins: My Uncle Albert was the sweet quiet one of the brothers. He was so gentle in spirit, yet he was as Andry as any of us-eccentric, funny, stubborn, loving, and opinionated. He was something of a mystery because of his War experience, and I loved when anyone asked about it because he would never ever tell, and they would know to leave it alone. I thought he had secret magic. I was kinda scared of his quietness when we were little,because one or two words could get our immediate attention, but, haram, what else could he do with all of us all over the place everywhere he turned around, and practical jokes he had to watch out for from us and especially from Aunt Eva? I loved watching Uncle Albert growing older because he reminded me of my daddy, and how he might have looked in time. People always noticed our flamboyant bigger than life Aunt Eva, but those of us who knew him were well aware that Uncle Albert could hold his own with the best of them when he wanted to. I believe Uncle Albert had a huge inner world that was so big he had to spend a lot of time dreaming and thinking, more than talking. Many of us could learn from his example and I will never forget him. I'm glad he got to make it to Nehman's and Aunt Eva's birthday this year. I love you all, and I'm praying for your strength. Our family has lost one of the most lovable, honorable men who ever was. He was a man's man, a hero to so many of us. He is owed the utmost respect for his quiet strength and dignity. He loved Aunt Eva, and raised his kids to be such successes in their own right. What a legacy he has left! What a true gift he was! His passing has left an emptiness in my heart and in my son's heart. My son was in such awe of this man for his military efforts in WWII, and how he went on to be so admired by all who knew him. May God keep you safe in his arms, Uncle Albert. We will miss you and always love you.
